The Comprehensive Audiological Evaluation

Consists of a consultation and a battery of tests

• To learn about your personal and medical history related to your current hearing
• To rule out impairment / determine degree of impairment
• To diagnose the type of hearing loss
• To determine need for medical treatment

For non contracted patients, all hearing aid evaluation and all related hearing aid services are included in the purchase price of our hearing instruments and a binaural (two ear) discount applies. The hearing systems are dispensed on a 75 day trial with a 100% refund at your discretion.

• To determine candidacy and potential for treatment with amplification
• To identify your goals for personal communication
• To educate regarding expectations of technology
• To make appropriate recommendations based on all of the above
• This is a very interactive appointment. We recommend you bring a companion.

• To adjust the coupling of the digital hearing instruments with your ears, whether custom or over-the-ear or molded
• To maximize the match of the digital technology with the natural ear acoustics, audiological findings and your subjective input, by computer programming

• Using speech mapping to be certain of the accuracy of programming and appropriateness of the technology selected, while it's being worn. A computer based transmission of sounds to your hearing system which measures objectively how you are hearing with them.
• Unlimited follow up care as your hearing and programming needs change, for the life of your instruments (approximately 3-5 years)
• Tri-monthly maintenance (complimentary)

• On-site minor repair for all makes and models, part replacement and maintenance, even if purchased elsewhere
• Electroacoustic analysis of any instruments to determine whether they function up to manufacturers specifications (computer based and objective)
